“The PERI UP system functions really well on our slipform operations and has been our go-to product for many years. For this project, we were able to eliminate a lot of the potential downtime associated with staircase installation. PERI’s smaller PERI UP Flex 75 system was loaded and assembled concurrently with our slipform operations providing continuous access. Other systems are usually too big to fit internally inside the core and components are too large, which has the potential to stop slipform operations. On a 165m-core, this would have negatively impacted our productivity and programme certainty. With over 120 men working in both slipform rigs, together with the rig hire, the cost to build can quickly get out of control.”
