Committed to giving back, UK-leading flooring contractor Loughton Contracts stepped in to install new flooring in the storeroom and food preparation area. To ensure a high-quality foundation, they partnered with PERI to supply PERI FLOOR – a flooring grade plywood – for the underlay.
Having previously collaborated with PERI during the fit out of LCA Education Group’s student campus, Loughton Contracts were once again impressed by the quality and performance of PERI FLOOR plywood.

James Chambers, UK Flooring Manager – Plywood & Timber Sales at PERI UK, said: “We were thrilled to partner with Loughton Contracts again and supply PERI FLOOR for a project that we know is going to make a big difference to so many people. Euston Foodbank, like many other facilities that give back, are doing a fantastic job and we were grateful to be a part of something so meaningful. Reliable flooring starts with the foundation, and we’re confident PERI FLOOR will extend the longevity of the flooring in high traffic areas like the food preparation area and storeroom.”
Brian Handman, Client Services Manager at Loughton Contracts, said:
“As always, it was such a pleasure to have PERI support us on this project, as they do on so many others. Our installers were impressed by the quality of the PERI FLOOR plywood, commenting on how nice it was to cut and install.
Seeing the sheer scale of people who cannot even afford the basics in life was a real eye-opener. Witnessing the people who give their time and voluntary support to these individuals and families was immensely heartwarming. Thank you, PERI, for supporting our team in our efforts to give a little back to those in need, as well as to the fantastic volunteers. We’re delighted to be able to give them a safe and clean environment where they can prep and cook food in and be proud of.”
